Our Petite Soirée with Sothys Director of Education Caroline Rushmore is only a few days away, so be sure to mark your calendars for the afternoon of Thursday, the 21st!

inviteOur fun afternoon will begin at 2pm with the first of Caroline’s talks, where she will go into depth about the new Energizing Treatment, do a demonstration and explanation of the Eye Contour Treatment, and offer a Question and Answer session to share her knowledge from over twenty years of expertise in skin care.  Caroline is responsible for the development of and education about Sothys’ latest treatments, facials, and products, and has a wealth of information to share about the best ways to keep your skin refreshed, youthful, and healthy.  Her second talk will take place around 4pm, if you can’t make it to the earlier talk or would rather come later in the day, but we encourage you to stop by at any time you can between 2 and 6 for a bit of relaxation, fun, and beauty talk! And don’t forget we will be holding a raffle (receive two  raffle tickets if you bring a friend), and you’ll receive a gift for attending. As always. special Event Only promotions on the new treatments will also be offered.

To further celebrate Sothys, their long history of luxurious skin care products and treatments, and the exciting new treatments (Energizing Treatment and Eye Contour Treatment) that will be available immediately after our Open House, we will be handing out samples of all of your Sothys favorites, and the new home care products associated with our new treatments.  This is the perfect opportunity to not only try out those products that you’ve been wondering about, but get the expert advice and product knowledge of Caroline and Patricia!

I know many of you have heard about the little party we’re planning for next Thursday with Sothys representative Caroline Rushmore to kick of the Holiday Season!

Caroline has just recently been appointed as Sothys’ Director of Education (a huge accomplishment, nous vous en félicitons!), and has over twenty years of experience in the professional skin care industry.  She is CIDESCO certified (stands for Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie), the World’s most prestigious qualification in the field of skin care and beauty therapy, and received extensive training in both England and France.  She has held positions as the Director of Education for several other prestigious French skin care brands, and continues to share her passion and professional knowledge of skincare.

As the Director of Education for Sothys, Caroline is responsible for developing and implementing the education strategies for the USA, Latin America and the Caribbean, and helps to develop training tools and protocols for all product usage and professional treatments, and create all materials for Sothys training events and programs.  

And she will be here to share her knowledge with us about Sothys’ brand new treatments, the Energizing Treatment and the Eye Contour Treatment, as well as the fabulous home care products that accompany both!  These gentle-yet-effective anti-aging treatments go hand in hand perfectly, both working to smooth the wrinkles and fine lines by stimulating collagen in the skin and around the eyes, while fortifying, energizing, and strengthening the cells to retain firmness and moisture.  All of this makes for a youthful, healthy glow for the Holiday Season, and who better to tell you all about it than Sothys’ Director of Education herself!

Eye Contour Treatment by Sothys

The eyes, as they say, are the windows to the soul, and one of the first things that people look at when talking with you.  The eyes are also where a majority of our emotions are displayed, which contributes to the formation of wrinkles and expression lines around and under our eyes, like crows feet and furrows over and between our eyebrows.  

aectSothys’ Eye Contour Treatment has been developed to treat the formation or visible signs of these wrinkles (or the beginnings thereof), which makes it the perfect anti-aging treatment for everyone (read: a gift for yourself, or a loved one with the holidays around the corner!)

Sothys has designed this refreshing, anti-aging treatment to sooth and reduce the puffy, dark circles under the eyes that emphasize age, while smoothing and firming the fine lines around the eyes.  The treatment begins with a gentle exfoliation (the removal of dead skin cells and debris from the surface of the skin and from within the pores) with a non-irritating Jasmine extract and rice powder application around the eyes.  Next, an age-defying serum with vitamins C and E (powerful anti-free radicals and work to stimulate collagen production) is massaged into the skin, to help it protect and regenerate itself, while moisturizing and diminishing wrinkles.  A relaxing modelling cream with shea and macadamia oils (helps skin to retain moisture and protect cells against aging) follows this, applied with cooled porcelain spoons around the eyes to further moisturize, soften, nourish, repair, and reduce puffy, dark circles.  A Tensor mask is applied next, to firm and fortify the structure of the skin, followed by an application of the Multi-Action Contour Eye Contour Cream to continue smoothing fine lines (after you’ve floated out of the salon, of course!).

eye prodsThis relaxing in-salon treatment should be supported by adding one or two of Sothys’ luxurious home care products, in order to maintain refreshed, youthful eyes.  The secret ingredient in all three Eye Contour care supplements contain High-Protection Eye Complex, which helps the skin to protect and regenerate itself to preserve the eye contour from the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness.

  • Multi-Action Eye Contour Cream combines the High-Protection Eye Complex with Alfalfa Extract (fortifies and protects collagen fibers, diminishes wrinkles), and other natural ingredients that fight under-eye bags and circles.
  • Anti-Puffiness Energizing Roll-On uses the High-Protection Eye Complex in conjunction with Lupine Seed Extract, which improves micro-circulation to prevent the slackening of lower eyelids.
  • Dark Circle Eraser employs the High-Protection Eye Complex with mineral pigments and vitamins that at once conceal dark circles, and reduces their appearance over time by improving circulation.
